Life has been incredibly busy since I last blogged! April-June seem to be 'busy' season for us!! It started in April with our trip to Disney, followed by my sister's birthday, sister-in-law's baby shower, and Easter. May saw us heading north to Illinois to visit my Grandma....her first time meeting the girls!! After returning from that trip we had our anniversary, my brother's birthday, Memorial Day Weekend and finally the girls birthdays! Whew! Since I did a big birthday party for Emma's first, I wanted to do the same for Lexi. Any free time I had between all of this I was busily scrapbooking, planning, and preparing for her big day. Now it's all behind me and I am feeling quite relieved. I'm looking forward to spending the rest of the summer relaxing, doing some house projects, and of course, plenty of pool time! :)
I've been debating on whether or not I want to keep this blog going. It just seems kind of pointless when I already upload most of my pics to facebook. Anyone who wants to know what we're up to can find all that out there. I haven't made any decision yet though. I do enjoy writing, even if I'm the only one that reads it. Looking back on old entries reminds me of things that I would've already forgotten. We'll see...
It's hard to believe I don't have a 'baby' anymore!! Emma is now 3, and Lexi just celebrated her first birthday! Much as I love babies, I do have to admit it's kind of nice to have it 'easy' now. No more huge diaper bag packed full of supplies for two little ones. Now I just need a diaper or two and a sippy cup. It's quite nice :)
