Thanksgiving

We had a really great Thanksgiving! Probably not that different from most other families...we had the amazing meal, wonderful family, fun times and football :) It was more special this year because Emma was able to understand that Thanksgiving is a holiday, something special. She watched all three hours of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and loved it!! She was captivated with the singing and dancing and loved the balloons. Lexi couldn't care less about the parade, but she sure enjoyed her meal! She had a big smile the whole time she was eating, and she cleaned her plate :)I have no pictures to share, unfortunately. The only ones I got on my camera were family pictures for our Christmas card, so you all just have to wait for those! :)
I didn't do any black Friday shopping, but we had a great day putting up our tree, watching a Christmas movie, and of course, enjoying leftovers! We've got the inside pretty much done as far as Christmas decorating. We just have to put up the outside lights this weekend when Mikey is off. We were driving home the other night when Emma, who was apparently observing the neighbors' lights, said, "Maybe Emma will buy lights for her house for Christmas." I told her daddy would put up lights for her as soon as he's off and she replied, "Ok. I want lots of lights like everybody." Needless to say, her daddy will be hanging lots of lights this weekend!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

(cards are out now, so I'm updating this with our picture :))
