Play day!!

Melissa came up today to hang out with Emma and me, and we had a GREAT time!! We started off by heading out to the park behind my house where we pushed Emma on the swings for awhile. She was fascinated with the ducks, and loves being in the swing, so she was a happy camper! We went to Target to pick up a few things, then it was off to the mall so that Emma could play on the "fruit". Our local mall has a huge play area for kids, and Emma's never been yet, so I was really excited to take her. It was a hit! She LOVED climbing and playing on the fruit, and enjoyed watching the other kids run around. She's not shy at all; she crawled over to a couple of little boys and SMILED at them, lol. We're going to have our hands full with her! After all that playing, we brought Em home and put her in the tub. She was sound asleep before seven o'clock. Guess we wore her out. =) Anyway, it was a fun day, and I'm so blessed to have a little sister who is also my best friend.

It just keeps getting more fun the older they get. Kaelyn's teachers told me that she was "quite the little flirt" in music class Thursday. I guess the story is that she had a boy backed up against the wall trying to hug him. And the last two days, she's been talking about "how much fun it was with A.J. at school" and she gets the biggest grin on her face when she talks about it. There are 8 boys and 2 girls (counting her) in her class so maybe that has something to do with it. :)

P.S. It was a DIFFERENT boy that she was hugging than the A.J. that she seems quite fond of.
